Welcome!
Hi! Welcome!
We’re so happy to have you here and excited to share the Person Partner Parent podcast!
It was almost a year from solid conception to going live. As a full time stay at home mom and military spouse my focused time was limited. But after 3 years of reading, learning, discernment, exploration, research, and self discovery I realized that this would be the way to share my heart.
A heart for men and women trying to do it all. Beating themselves up, or going along with things going great only to realize their relationship is struggling among all the competing priorities. Or the new mom who doesn’t remember who she was before, who is an amazing transformed person, but longs for some of the dreams that lit her up before this transformation. I read, I learn, I trial and error, and observe others - and I’ve learned some things that I think can help. And I’ve found others who can help point us all towards living a life we love. A life where we love ourselves and pursue what makes us happy. A life where our relationships are partnerships that grow and ebb with change. Where we relearn how to communicate and love and support one another over time as and life challenges us in different ways. A life where family is a verb. Work and care and fun to raise awesome humans and protect our health and sanity throughout the process. Standing together looking for solutions for a better tomorrow.
So I took a chance on changing our schedules, hiring some childcare help (god bless our nanny!)(and my husband for agreeing to cash out investments to make it happen!), and getting to work. My hope is that you feel heard. That you can identify with the struggles we talk about, or if you see someone else in your world who may share a struggle that you can find greater understanding for their experience. My hope is that you gain real and practical insight and tools to help you live your life full. Maybe one aspect is harder for you than others, maybe balancing all 3 is hard, or you feel guilty. We are all so diverse in our experiences and personalities but there are some common threads and truths that can help many of us.
My hope is also that you engage! We rise by lifting each other up. Share what you have learned, ask questions, seek answers, find someone who’s experience relates to yours and learn from each other. Support each other! Find us on Instagram and Facebook or message me directly.
Thank you for coming!
